Disadvantaged Children

Martineztown House of Neighborly Service (MHNS) MHNS is a community center for children and families in need. They provide bilingual education and support to vulnerable children and families. The Mission Committee partnered with the deacons and shepherd groups once again this year for our food drive at Thanksgiving. This annual partnership provided a full Thanksgiving meal for 13 specific families who were designated by MHNS as being in need. SOTV also supported MHNS’s summer program financially. Finally, SOTV donated its passenger van to the community center, as they were in great need of one.
