Project Linus

Project Linus

Project Linus is comprised of hundreds of local chapters and thousands of volunteers across the United States. Each volunteer and local chapter all work together to help achieve their mission which is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."

The SOTV Blanketeers continue to meet the first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall. This group of giving women makes blankets for various organizations in town, including PB&J Family Services, UNM Hospital, and Cuidan-do los Niños. Betty Jo Scott is the main contact.

The next meeting is March 12 at 10:00 am in the Fireside Area.
