The SOTV Card Ministry has made beautiful Easter Cards to send to our Prayer Partners in San Nicolas, Cuba. The Easter cards will be available in the Gathering Space this next Sunday, February 26th. After Sunday, they will be sent to a fellow Presbyterian in North Carolina who will hand carry them when she visits Cuba on March 5^th. Don't worry about what to say on the cards as several Spanish sentences and phrases will be available for you to write and express your sentiments. All of the congregation and children are encouraged to write cards, even if you have not had a Prayer Partner in the past.

When life smiles at us, when we are living "la vie en rose," our thoughts go: "Thank you, God, how great is the God in whom I have believed." And we become living proof of our belief in that powerful God whom we have at our sides. The problem is that in the midst of most of our worries and times of testing, we forget about that very presence which has been with us at other moments. Due to this forgetfulness, we begin to doubt His presence and at times even His existence. When we experience difficulties in our lives, we try to resolve them through our own efforts. How different our lives would be if we always trusted in His promise: "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

PRAYER: Oh beloved God, help us to feel your presence in our lives every day. As we direct our eyes towards you through Christ Jesus. Amen
