Church Women United, an Ecumencial Christian women's movement, will meet for "May Friendship Day" on Saturday, May 5th at the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church located at 1004 24th St. SE in Rio Rancho, just one block south of Southern. The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. with coffee fellowship, followed by worship service at 10:30 a.m. The theme for the celebration is "Listening to My Sisters", to recognize the diversity women bring to our community. Our celebration will be combined with the CWU State Assembly along with a "Valiant Woman Award" being given and the Fellowship of the Least Coin Offering will be gathered. Women clergy are to be honored as well. A luncheon will follow the program. Registration & luncheon cost is $10. Please contact Ruth May by April 30th to register. Please join us and bring a friend!
