This year's Women's Retreat provides different activities according to each woman's individual need for quiet time, small or large group time. Not only will the group explore what spirituality means, there will be three focus groups discussing topics that may be very near and dear to all attendees. Mix and match...each person will be able to design the weekend to her own interests. There is something for everyone. Come join us while we learn and share what the dance of the spirit means, share our faith development with other women, explore what our spirituality means and gather some tools to help ourselves along the way.

P.W. is resuming their twice-annual professional clothing drive. We will start collecting clothing for Our Sisters’ Closet on March 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th. Women in transition receive vouchers for clothing needed for job interviews and starting of employment. Shoes, purses, and other accessories will also be accepted. For everything there is a season and a time for everything under heaven: a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance - Ecclesiastes 3:1
, Ecclesiastes 3:4
. Let them praise his name with dancing - Psalm 149:3
.
How do we define spirituality? How do we grow spiritually? How can we discern the activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives? These days there are many definitions of spirituality or spiritual formation. Some have compared it to a dance. Our definition as Christians, and particularly reformed and Presbyterian Christians, must include the way we experience God, through his Word-Christ and Scripture-the Church, and our lives, empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit.
This year's women's retreat will once again utillize worship, music, and large and small groups at the beautiful and serene Canossian Spirituality Center. Our program will be helpful regardless of where each of us might be on our journey of faith and regardless or our age or circumsgtances. New to the program will be a variety of practices and activities, forcus groups, time alone for prayer, the labyrinth and journaling that participants will be able to choose from throughout the day. Please join us in this dance and come away with tools that will help nurture your spirituality.
